As our Facilities Manager, you'll hold a pivotal role within Reckitt, where the seamless functioning of our physical space translates directly to our success. You will collaborate closely with all stakeholders, internal and external, to create and maintain a safe, clean, efficient, attractive and productive work environment that enhances employee engagement. **Your responsibilities** Facilities Management · Implementation of the agreed Workplace and Facilities Management strategy. · Take responsibility for facilities budget and work closely with finance to ensure targets are achieved and exceeded. · Day-to-day operational management of facility/workplace services. · Manage all 3rd parties, being the first point of contact regarding service standards and delivery, and financial accountability. · Ensure we have current contracts on services provided by contractors. · Take accountability for ensuring all legal requirements that fall under Health & Safety requirements are implemented and adhered to. · Strive for continuous improvement of workplace services and end user experience through a regular review of services, processes, and procedures, always with an eye to cost & efficacy. · Manage local space planning and allocation. · Approve and coordinate new hires and moves, working with HR and IS. People Management · Lead and manage a small team of direct and indirect colleagues · Co-ordinate, monitor, and measure services of external vendors, contractors, and sub-contractors as per above responsibilities · Checking completed work and follow up on any deficiencies Project Management and Procurement · Work closely with stakeholders to define project requirements and translate these into the project scope. · Work with procurement to complete the request for proposals (RFP’s), contribute to the creation of selection criteria, and participate in the selection process of the contractor(s). · Complete project investment documentation comprising of the Capital Expenditure Request (CER), Budget, and Project Goals and Objectives · Ensure projects are completed within planned timeframes, budget, scope, and signed off accordingly Health and Safety; Security; and Disaster Recovery: · Partners with stakeholders to set strategy for Health and Safety within the building. · Key member of Health and Safety Committee and Disaster Recovery Team · Spearhead procedures for Emergency Preparedness relative to Facilities. · Support the development and revision to Reckitt Security procedures **The experience we're looking for** + 3+ years’ experience in facility services or college degree in the field of engineering, construction management, hospitality, or related discipline. + Basic Knowledge of Hard Services – HVAC/MEP + Preferred experience in a corporate office environment with leading facility service team. + Be able to demonstrate project management skills and some experience in project work + Demonstrate the ability to manage and lead change, ensuring minimum disruption to core work activities + Have a clear understanding & experience of procurement and contract management + Professional work experience in directing/managing and planning essential central services such as maintenance, cleaning and security **The skills for success** Technical skills, Organizational skills, Communication and influencing skills, Attention to detail, Decision-making skills, Analytical and problem-solving skills, Health and safety awareness, Leadership skills, Customer service skills, Financial management skills. **What we offer** With inclusion at the heart of everything we do, working alongside our four global Employee Resource Groups, we support our people at every step of their career journey, helping them to succeed in their own individual way.
