What will you do?   

Our company seeks a Warehouse Lead that can empower a team of Receiving Technicians. An ideal candidate is highly energetic, engaged in improving safety, quality, delivery and cost, and has experience working in a warehouse in support of Manufacturing processes. Requires an in-depth knowledge of Warehouse and OSHA requirements. Requires Forklift experience to include certification. 

How will you get here?

High School diploma required with a minimum of 5 years of inventory/warehouse experience. (Prior pharmaceutical experience a plus)

Responsibilities

Demonstrates and promotes the company vision; 4 I’s, Role Model Leadership (RML), and Practical Process Improvements (PPI). Performs weekly Gemba processes with receiving.Ensure proper storage including organization and staging of material on pallets and racks in warehouse.Authors CAPA’s (corrective action/preventative action), QR’s (quality record), EC’s (effectiveness check), AI’s (action item) in Track-Wise.Uses all available resources to increase throughput and improve efficiencies for Receiving Department processes. Practices lean and PPI methodologies.Ensures quality is upheld in all phases of receiving and staging processes. This includes facilitating with Quality Assurance on trend analysis to prevent quality escapes.Maintains the Warehouse under Good Manufacturing Principles and standards.Ensure Warehouse personnel account for all rejected and sample materials process to include storing, accountability and maintaining inventory system. Identify any discrepancies and contact appropriate departments.Lead and direct Warehouse personnel to return stock samples and rejected drug supplies with necessary items and adjust inventory system.Lead and direct Warehouse personnel to move stores to stores approved goods in a timely accurate fashion. Re-Warehousing process to include computer generated and manual records.Responsible for re-supply and stocking of Operations to include support of cold chain processes.The lead ensures that Warehouse personnel complete and update computer records to include manual records, maintain inventory accuracy, perform accurate Cycle Counts and make appropriate adjustments to Global Project Management (GPM) system.Ensures that inventory is properly and safely stored.  Maintains 5S warehouse for safety, neatness and organization. Makes daily inspections of freezer, refrigerated and warehouse areas. Reports safety incidents or violations to Supervisor, Warehouse Operations.Identifies discrepancies as they arise, uses problem-solving abilities to solve Inventory Database accuracy. Reports discrepancies and complaints to Supervisor, Warehouse Operations.Prioritizes departmental work assignments and handles multiple tasks, including problem solving, to ensure all Inventory Control assigned task sets are completed as scheduled.Willingly takes on additional assignments as needed.Responsible for Training of new hires in receiving.Follows all FCS Standard Operating Procedures.  Maintains FCS Standard Operating Procedure training and re-training, when applicable.Revises/creates SOP’s to incorporate procedural changes for the purpose of overall quality.Ensures all Fisher Standard Operating Procedures are followed, and all personnel are trained on all required SOP’s.If required review all Operations Support discrepancies by collecting supporting documentation and presenting it to QA in by using FCS Global Track-Wise Deviation system.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

A good understanding of math concepts is necessary, which includes decimals, square roots, and percentage yield and temperature conversion.Must be competent in all aspects of Warehouse Procedures.Must have ability to lead and develop team momentum, enthusiasm, and pride.Must have reliable transportation. Must be forklift certified.Requires computer literacy must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Must have and be able to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Must be able to work independently and possess problem solving ability.Must be able to direct workforce to accomplish assigned tasks.Mastery of skills required to read, understand, and adhere to the SOPs and policies of a GMP environment.

Physical Requirements

Standing, bending, reaching, walking, and talking.Lifting up to 45 lbs. occasionally, and 20lbs regularly.The position is exposed to cold temperatures, below 32 degrees, up to one hour at a time.The position will be exposed to atmospheric conditions could require PAPR.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Illinois is $20.00–$28.00.
