THE ROLE
At Live Nation Entertainment, we are at the forefront of the live entertainment industry, leveraging cutting-edge technology to drive our business forward. As the Vice President of Strategic Programs, you will have the opportunity to drive strategic enterprise programs that improve the technology landscape of a global entertainment leader, driving innovation and excellence in every aspect of our global operations.
As a key member of our IT Senior Leadership Team, the Vice President – Strategic Programs will work closely with your peers to deliver on our Global Technology and Cybersecurity Strategy. This mission-critical role will oversee a portfolio of enterprise-wide technology programs, driving successful execution of initiatives that are strategically important to the company’s global IT function. Initially focused on leading the implementation of modern cloud-based ERP systems, this position will expand to encompass a broad range of technology transformation efforts across business domains.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned program leader, a dynamic and visionary executive, who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments and demonstrates exceptional stakeholder engagement, team leadership, and delivery excellence.
This role will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Strategic Leadership:
Articulate a clear, forward-looking investment roadmap for global technology solutions that align with Live Nation's business goals.
Lead IT portfolio planning and management for the CTO function.
Manage the team budget.
Program Delivery:
Oversee ERP system implementation (Oracle Fusion, OneStream), with responsibility for technology program management, QA, release governance, and IT SOX compliance.
Lead and manage other complex, high-impact technology programs across multiple business domains to achieve strategic outcomes.
Establish and maintain strategic program roadmaps aligned with enterprise goals, collaborating closely with business and IT leaders.
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across functions, ensuring strong alignment between technology programs and business priorities.
Develop and lead program governance frameworks including metrics, milestones, financial oversight, and reporting for executive stakeholders.
Drive technical coordination across IT, vendors, and business units for system integration, user adoption, and operational readiness.
Ensure enterprise programs comply with relevant regulatory frameworks (SOX, CCPA, GDPR, PCI), and facilitate internal/external audits.
Collaborate with the CISO and other technology leaders to incorporate security, compliance, and risk management into program execution.
Build, develop, and mentor a high-performing program management team, fostering excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
Champion change management strategies to support organization-wide adoption of new platforms and processes.
Develop & manage strategic technology vendor relationships and performance
Talent Development:
Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Implement programs for coaching, mentoring, and professional development to build a high-performing workforce.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
Bachelors Degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum 15 years of progressively senior leadership experience in technology
Minimum 5 years in leading complex technology-driven transformation programs in large, global organizations
Demonstrated experience in implementing programs in the financial technology space involving PCI & SOX compliance.
Demonstrated experience in guiding highly technical development & engineering teams
Experience in driving system integrator & technology vendor performance
Experience guiding compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements including SOX, SOC, PCI-DSS and familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO27001)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to communicate complex technology topics to technical & non-technical audiences at various levels

$212,000.00 USD - $265,000.00 USD** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
