We are seeking a VOIP Specialist Network Technology Support to ensure the reliability and continuous operation of AT&T’s Optical, IP Core, Mobility, and advanced communication technologies through 24x7 technical support, fault and lifecycle management, and a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end services.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Diagnose network problems, provide technical support, manage incidents, coordinate root cause analysis, restore service, and resolve Tier 2 issues.Network Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor network performance, perform routine maintenance, optimize operations, and proactively maintain system configurations using alarm and KPI monitoring.Configuration and Deployment: Configure network devices, deploy network solutions, manage configurations, and implement vendor/IT fixes or design changes.Collaboration and Coordination: Work with teams, coordinate with vendors, support projects, collaborate with business partners in DevOps, and interact with customers.Documentation and Reporting: Maintain documentation, create technical and process documentation, review and interpret technical and vendor specifications, and generate reports.Technical support for network platform issues, performing alarm monitoring, and assisting with the investigation and remediation of network faults.Qualifications:
VoIP Experience: At least basic understanding of VoIP technologies is mandatory for this position.UNIX/Linux Skills: CLI basics required; extended and/or scripting is highly appreciated.IP Networking Skills: Basic knowledge from L2 up to SIP/RTP/RTCP.Experience: 1+ years of experience troubleshooting in an IP network consisting of L2, L3 devices, and application servers (including basics of virtualization) within an operations production environment.Skills: Must have organizational skills, ability to multitask, and strong interpersonal skills. Willingness to own issues until problems are resolved. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.Additional Experience: Experience with ticketing systems, TDM (legacy voice) network, 4/5ESS switching, SS7 signaling, and circuits will be considered an advantage.Location: Brno office, hybrid model
