Role Objective:

We’re looking for a detail-driven and highly organised Venue Settlements Officer to join our Venue Finance team at Live Nation Australia.

 

In this full-time role, you’ll support Management Accountants across our Australian venues with the delivery, processing, and reconciliation of event finances. From project setup and invoice coding to payment reconciliations and post-show settlements, you’ll help ensure every dollar is tracked and accounted for. You’ll also work closely with venue operations teams to ensure accurate and timely data flow.

What you’ll be doing: 

Project Setup & Tracking: Create project codes and maintain the tracking report.Document Management: Prepare show folders and file correspondence from the settlements inbox.Invoice & GL Work: Code project-related invoices and request invoices raising (e.g., ticketing, merchandise).Reconciliations: Reconcile EFT/POS payments to bank deposits for each project.Venue Elite Entries: Complete venue settlements and enter show data into Venue Elite.Journals & Data Entry: Load project-related journals to Oracle and maintain accurate financial records.Stakeholder Liaison: Work with venue operations to confirm and input show data on time.Ad Hoc Support: Provide additional administrative and accounting support where needed.

Strong Attention to Detail: You spot inconsistencies quickly and care about getting the numbers right.Time Management & Organisation: You’re able to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines with ease.Communication & Teamwork: You work well with others and communicate clearly and confidently.Problem-Solving Mindset: You can think critically and navigate roadblocks calmly.Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Excel and Outlook is essential; Oracle experience is a plus.Qualifications: A degree in Accounting/Finance or relevant experience in a similar role is preferred.
