We are seeking a talented individual to join our Energy & Power team at Marsh. This role will be based in Dubai and is a hybrid position, requiring at least three days a week in the office.

As a Placement Leader in Energy & Power, you will play a crucial role in leading our placement activities across the IMEA region, focusing on deepening market relationships and providing tailored placement solutions for our clients in the Energy & Power sector. You will oversee a team of brokers, ensuring alignment with our key hub relationships in London and Singapore while driving innovative strategies to meet complex client needs.

We will count on you to:

Lead and mentor a team of placing brokers, coordinating workloads to meet client demands effectively.Develop and implement placement strategies utilizing your risk expertise and industry knowledge.Foster strong relationships with carriers and underwriters to create innovative solutions for unique client needs.Audit and finalize commission structures in accordance with client agreements and directives.Stay informed on changing insurance and risk market conditions, communicating major developments to clients and internal teams.Actively participate in internal networks to enhance knowledge of the firm’s product lines and contribute to the development of new products.

What you need to have:

Proven experience in a placement broker role within the Energy & Power sector.Strong understanding of risk management and insurance market dynamics.Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a focus on performance oversight and mentorship.
