Leadership and management experience, Market and Product Knowledge. French speaking would be desirable but not essential.
Knowledge of International Trade, Practical use of the office pack, negotiation and customer relations experience, priority management. Degree level education would be desirable with a minimum of 5 years of management experience. Excellent level of IT competence.

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 7.30 am to 4.15 pm Friday 7.30 am to 12 noon = 37.5 basic hours per week.
Your role will be to lead and supervise the inside Sales Team with a view to optimizing (volume and commercial margins) of the order book and the achievement of the various commercial objectives.
Team Management
Your team will be responsible under your leadership to respond on time to price requests, achieve a successful rate of purchase on offers quoted, and participate under the definition of rules for responding to calls for tenders applied for. Follow up with our customer base on any price requests, or order management information, and analyse the effectiveness of the contract review accordingly. Your leadership will set and follow up on objectives set to indivdiual team members, and provide or organise training and supervision where required. Train and communicate all internal policies and procedures. Organise for Team Briefings and carry out regular reporting to functional managers.
Daily Customer Relationship Management
Lead, and performance manage the team, and their achievements against the required service and support to our customer base. Ensure all members of the team are trained to provide an excellent standard of service, and that our Sales Team operate to the rules and procedures applicable to our service i.e. (quotation rules, contract review, Imex control, and quality documents). Raise awareness and compliance of our internal ASAT requirements for (FBP etc) and insider sales.
On a daily, weekly and monthly basis, ensure the sales team maintain a good working relationship of trust with our customers, especially when following up on offers of quotations. On occasion the team will hold customer review meetings and travel within this role will be required on occasion, including overseas.
Ensure optimal collaboration between various internal departments, work in close collaboration with the Sales Director, Account and Product Managers.
Lead the downloads and population of order data of the system as required.
Commercial Activity
Support employees in the setting of objectives to achieve business and personal objectives. Monitor the performance indicators on a daily basis and propose corrective actions in the event of any deviations. Ensure reporting activity to both your hierarchy and your teams, and complete studies to review the data, and communicate results as necessary.
Participation in the development and improvement of all processes for the continuous improvement of our services including process, and commercial computer systems.
Quotation and Follow Up Processes
Validate responses to Inside Sales Calls for tenders (quotations) and maximise sales volumes and margins (150k signing autonomy). Be part of the negotiation process with clients in complex situations. You will be a participant in meetings for multi year contracts of your teams client's portfolio with the contracts department in order to define the processing of the call for tenders and the terms of the contract.
