The Training Specialist at Siemens Grand Prairie will play a crucial role in ensuring the proficiency and skill development of our production team members. This individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, and delivering training programs that align with the company's production objectives and quality standards. The Training Specialist will be under the guidance and leadership of the training manager. They will work closely with the training team, quality, production managers, engineering, and other stakeholders to identify training needs, develop curriculum, and facilitate hands-on training sessions.
We are looking for a Training Specialist to join our training team at our Grand Prairie, TX facility. This position will work 1st shift.
You will make an impact by:
Training Program Development: Create and update training materials to support production staff in safety, equipment use, procedures, and quality standards. Training Delivery: Facilitate interactive training sessions using diverse instructional methods for both new and current employees. Skill Assessment: Evaluate team members’ abilities and needs to tailor effective, targeted training. Documentation and Reporting: Keep accurate training records and generate reports on performance and improvement areas. Continuous Improvement: Regularly refine training content and methods to align with evolving standards and best practices. Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to align training with operational goals and address workforce needs.You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in education, Training, or a related field; or three years’ experience in manufacturing, technical environment Two years of proven experience in training design, development, and delivery, preferably in manufacturing or in secondary education environment. Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and individuals at various levels within the organization. Demonstrated organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Proficiency in MS Office suite, LMS and other relevant training software/tools. Legally authorized to work in the Unites States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.Preferred Qualifications:
Training certification (i.e. ATD, CPTD or CPTM) Strong knowledge of production processes, equipment, and quality management systems.You’ll benefit from:
