Responsibilities: • Responsible for the preparation and verification of the tools specifications; • Plan and optimize the tool concept, release the tool design base on specific definition; • Responsible for calculating the costs related to the development of new tools or modification of existing tools; • Responsible for communicating and monitoring the development period of the tools according to the project deadlines; • Defining, optimizing and recording changes accordingly for tools; • Participate in tool validation tests and define necessary improvements. • Evaluates the measurement reports and defines the necessary corrections; • Develop local/external suppliers of tools as future support for the toolshop; • Provides support to the development department (ME) during the feasibility meetings of the product and related tools; • Carries out / develops the actions to achieve the department's objectives (House of Targets); • Regularly participates in process auditing activities inside the plant (line audit, PMA, DQS, etc.); • Participates and proposes methods of continuous improvement and cost reduction; • Involved in the Change Management process (changes in parameters, tools, equipment, etc.); • Participates in PST (problem solving teams) related to internal/customer problems. Your Profile • University Degree in Technical field; • 3+ years of experience in a similar role; • Good knowledge of technical drawing (2D and 3D); • Proven experience in design and production of injection molding tools; • Proficient in English.
