Position Summary:
Maintain stock levels and support purchase of indirect items, tools, and expendable supplies. Issue tools, stock and supplies to employees. Responsible for ensuring all hazardous materials in the crib are stored and labeled in compliance with regulations. Support with schedule pick up, support maintenance team, buyer and Manager. Support Maintenance Supervisor with printing
issuing PM’s. Issue parts related to PM work in the PM system and run indirect item inventory reports, execute cycle counts and inventory audit or print.
Principal Functional Responsibilities:
Track and maintain accurate inventory records and locations of the indirect inventory items and tool stock in the tool crib
Perform Daily cycle counts to manage and adjust inventory on RMP system
Issue stock and spares to employees and maintenance crew
Print and Issue indirect items for PM work orders & validate their closure, assure issue are completed, dated and filed
Complete restock of current and new items
Keep tool crib housekeeping and floor supplies such as rags, uniforms collection and schedule pick up and replenishment
Support Maintenance supervisor and Manager in other tasks assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of High School Diploma/GED with 3 years of warehousing and inventory control.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook and Excel)
Experience working in a fast-paced team environment
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management.
Ability to work 1st shift "7:00am - 3:00pm" Monday through Friday, including overtime as necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a Tool Crib, Inventory control functions
Knowledge of standard hand tools
Able to work inside and outside in a warehouse / shop floor environment.
Working knowledge of common hardware and tooling material
