Testing Tools Administrator (qTest)

What does a successful Testing Tools Administrator (qTest) do at Fiserv?

You will be a QA Tools Administrator that will monitor and maintain the efficiency of our software applications (both on-prem and vendor hosted). You will collaborate with our software engineering team & vendors, working with Offshore colleagues and performing successful updates/upgrades at the application UI and server levels. You will also provide IT support, training, and best practice documentation to our clients.

What you will do:

Provide software application support for QA applications (Tricentis qTest, Sauce Labs as well as our internal metrics database system)Perform analyses on software application functionality and suggest improvements, including routine maintenance practicesEnsure effective front-end and back-end functionality of applicationsConsult with the vendor and clients to improve application performanceManage compliance and patch updates, disaster recovery plans and vulnerability remediation across environments to ensure continued and synchronized functionalityEstablish the root causes of application errors, and escalate serious concerns to managementKeep a record of configuration changes and schedule application updates and document processes and monitor application performance metricsProvide reporting and metrics support pertaining to applications (i.e., license and usage reports, application usage governance, testing dashboards)

What you will need to have:

6+ years’ experience as an application support administrator3+ years’ experience managing application upgrades, document configuration changes, maintain security requirements and monitor performance3+ years’ experience providing front-end support to internal departments and web-based clients2+ years’ experience in determining the causes of application errors and repairing them.Bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or an equivalent combination of education, work, or military experience

What would be great to have:

2+ years’ experience in Microsoft Power BI, PowerApps, Power Automate applications, and their backend functions (Power BI gateway, dataflows, API data extract)1 year experience in Jira application as a user
