We're looking for a **Senior Project Manager** to join our growing team!
This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in Product Environmental Compliance (PEC) and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) programs - someone who enjoys leading cross-functional initiatives and driving positive change across global teams.
You'll be responsible for leading sustainability-related projects across our business unit. Your main focus will be managing project scope, time, and cost, while ensuring alignment with global compliance standards. Expect to collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams to drive successful project outcomes.
This job is based in **Cluj-Napoca, Romania.**
We provide a flexible working schedule with the option of **working hybrid.**
**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:**
• **Planning support:**
o Adhere to commitments of scope, time and cost to support all stakeholders.
o Drive effective communication across the business unit and partners.
o Identify risks and mitigation strategies.
o Ensure resources are appropriately assigned.
o Understanding the project scope and goals in collaboration with vendors and internal stakeholders.
o Following up and assuring the project plan and timelines are completed on time.
o Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies in coordination with BU owners and vendors.
o Enabling the communication and coordination between Business Units and vendors.
**• Team Leadership:**
o Influencing and managing project teams.
o Delegating tasks and assigning responsibilities.
o Providing guidance and support to team members and vendors.
o Monitoring individual performance and addressing issues.
**• Monitoring Execution:**
o Tracking project progress against the plan
o Identifying and addressing project stop blockers
o Managing changes to project scope and requirements
o Updating project status reports and communicating to stakeholders
**• Compliance and regulations knowledge:**
o Stay up to date on EPR regulations and standards, supporting the BU in the main requirements.
o Knowledge in PEC programs (e.g. RoHS, REACH, POPs, PFAS. Conflict Minerals etc).
**For This Role You Will Need:**
• 5+ years of experience (minimum 3 years in project management, with additional experience in PEC/EPR).
• Bachelor’s or master’s in environmental science, Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Solid knowledge of EPR and PEC programs (RoHS, REACH, PFAS, POPs, Conflict Minerals).
• Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
• Fluent in English (written & spoken).
• Experience with relevant project management and compliance tools.
• Results oriented: Focus on desired results. Meet with the different teams to develop an understanding of the project goals and desired outcomes.
• Strong communication skills: Effectively communicating with clients, team members, and stakeholders at all levels.
• Leadership abilities: Inspiring and influencing teams to achieve project goals.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 30%.
**Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:**
• ESG experience.
• PMP certification.
• Previous experience in a global or matrix organization.
