We're looking for a Mechanical Designer to join our Ski-Doo Engineering team. This role will allow you to use your creativity and mechanical sense to develop parts and systems. You'll have a major impact on the design, development and validation of various projects.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO: 

Creating the technical drawings needed for the manufacture of new vehicles;

Participating in the development of components and ensuring prototype production monitoring;

Collaborating with the team’s designers and engineers in the problem-solving process;

Creating tracking files to optimize project advancement.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES: 

DEC or BAC in mechanical engineering or relevant design experience; 

A keen sense of mechanics and good 3D visualization skills;

Knowledge of design software such as Catia V5 or SolidWorks;

Good communication skills in French and English (written and spoken). English is required as the person will have to read technical and regulatory documentation not available in French, as well as communicate with international suppliers.

Knowledge of dimensional and geometric tolerance standards (GD&T);

Curiosity and ingenuity to find creative solutions to problems.
