The Workflow Specialist role is -
Reporting to the Application Manager, India, SWA & SEA, he/she will be responsible for developing Sales of Automation products in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Workflow Analysis and Optimization:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing laboratory workflows and processes.
Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
Develop and propose optimized workflows leveraging Beckman Coulter's Life Sciences technologies.
Solution Design and Implementation:
Customize and implement Beckman Coulter solutions tailored to specific laboratory needs.
Collaborate with laboratory teams to ensure seamless integration of new workflows.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions, making adjustments as necessary.
Technical Expertise and Support:
Serve as a subject matter expert on Beckman Coulter products, providing in-depth technical support.
Troubleshoot and resolve any product or workflow-related issues in a timely manner.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of product functionalities and updates.
Training and Education:
Develop and deliver training programs for laboratory personnel on product usage and workflow enhancements.
Create educational materials, such as guides and manuals, to support training efforts.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within customer laboratories.
Customer Engagement and Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in customer laboratories.
Regularly engage with customers to understand their evolving needs and challenges.
Provide feedback to internal teams on customer insights and product performance.
Collaboration and Cross-functional Work:
Work closely with sales, marketing, and product development teams to align strategies and initiatives.
Participate in cross-functional meetings to share customer insights and drive product innovation.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions, workflow assessments, and solution implementations.
Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders to communicate progress and impact.
Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in laboratory workflows.
Suggest and contribute to the development of new products and solutions that address market needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
MSc/MTech/ in Biological Sciences /Chem Eng/Biotechnology
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in laboratory operations, workflow management, or related field.
Proven experience with Beckman Coulter products or similar laboratory instruments is highly desirable.
Strong analytical skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
A self-motivated person who looks forward to significant field-based activity (up to 50-70% of travel)
