Technical Solutions Consultant

What does a successful Technical Service Consultant do at Fiserv?

As a successful Technical Service Consultant in the Issuing organization, you will ensure that Fiserv delivers on its commitments to our clients. You will serve a meaningful role in driving solutions while ensuring client satisfaction and partnership with stakeholders across the company.

What you will do:

Assist client service team if/when technology expertise is needed to resolve client inquiries/issuesHelp the client understand ways they can use existing or new Fiserv capabilities versus custom product developmentDrive resolution of issues throughout the process/problem identification, root cause analysis, issue resolution and client communicationsDevelop customized solutions within the platform to support critical business functions to meet project objectives, client requirements, and company goals.Work with product and technology teams to determine options which may be present to leverage as opposed to client specific custom developmentCommunicate with project managers, clients, and other developers to design cohesive project strategies and ensure effective collaboration throughout all phases of development, testing and deployment.Drive strategic growth within the relationship via product offerings/solutions versus custom client developmentSupport IT counterparts with design and/or development of solutions for client specific requests

What you will need to have:

Bachelor's degree in business, technology or a related field requiredKnowledge of Optis and related systems10+ years of experience in the Payments Industry10+ years of experience with business architecture and/or translating business requirements into, (high level) solutionsExperience vetting technical requirements with clientsStrong experience in relationship building, with both Internal and External business partners

What would be great to have:

Technical or solutions consulting experienceExperience with Waterfall and Agile methodologiesBackground and experience generating revenue growth for clients by finding opportunities to utilize product or service functions  Experience with championing and providing consulting recommendations to support system enhancements/modernization

The successful candidate is eligible for an annual incentive opportunity which may be delivered as a mix of cash bonus and equity awards in the Company’s sole discretion.

Salary Range

$98,300.00 - $168,700.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in Illinois, California and District of Columbia. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
