The Product Quality Technician (PQT) is responsible for ensuring the product quality data and product quality information accuracy.The PQT to support Product Quality Engineer (PQE) monitoring the SPC performance and trigger worse chart report.The position requires knowledge of MIDAS and SAP system and QC control process flow.The PQT must be able to communicate quality information clearly to internal team to support the business. 

The candidate is expected to use statistical methods to ensure that product quality is maintained.  This includes use of Minitab/JMP SPC to review the primary trend chart and update to PQE for root cause investigation.

This role is critical to the success of our business in an environment of ever-increasing customer expectations regarding product quality.  The successful candidate will work with PQE closely to accomplish their objectives. 

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain specifications, control limits & trend rules in SPC software.Review intermediate & product SPC charts.Prepare draft inspection plan for MIDAS and SAPRespond to customer requests for SPC report.Prepare draft OCAP report for PQE to finalize it.

Requirements:

Experience using statistical techniques such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA), and Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (FMEA) to improve processes. 

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with statistical software, such as JMP/Minitab. Strong verbal and written communication skills along with strong attention to detail.
