Technical Quality Assurance AdvisorWhat does a successful Technical Quality Assurance Advisor do at Fiserv?
A successful Technical Quality Assurance Advisor at Fiserv manages several projects simultaneously and understands and communicates the scope of testing required to certify projects and desired business capabilities. They review and approve test plans, assist with managing post-design scope changes, and resolve issues throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). They build a knowledge base or proficiency framework on the test teams and applications and acquire subject matter expertise on the overall line of business pertaining to the test team(s). They also analyze and prioritize defects based upon business and programming specifications.
What you will do:
Plan, design, script, and execute test cases for various applications.Analyze test results and provide recommendations to resolve application issues.Lead test activities for large-sized projects and/or programs.Conduct post-test execution activities, including error debugging and reporting.Communicate test results and defect status internally and externally.Develop and monitor automated test scripts to ensure reliability and effectiveness.Review and approve test plans to ensure they align with project requirements.Assist with managing post-design scope changes and resolving issues throughout the SDLC.What you will need to have:
8+ years of experience with Automation Tools: QTest, TOSCA, JENKINS, SPLUNK Paragon Selenium Based Frameworks (WAF, PAF), SOAPUI, Transaction Script Tool; and Development.8+ years of experience in leading testing activities for large projects.8+ years of experience in analyzing and prioritizing defects based upon business and programming specifications.10+ years of experience working within an agile methodology on a scrum team to coordinate testing.6+ years of project management experience handling testing and quality assurance.Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience and/or certifications.Current Fiserv system experience.What would be great to have:
Expert knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodology.Define test objectives, write and execute test cases and test scenarios to ensure that software products meet design specifications and quality measurements, update and modify existing test procedures as necessary.Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation).Subject Matter expert in mainframe and/or distributed automation and performance testing.This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Nevada, Rhode Island or Washington.
