Role Purpose

This role requires technical excellence having good market insight to support commercial & technical development in Pakistan. Develop close liaison with R&D and marketing team to help in planning and launching of NPI. Lead as a technical expert to bring sustainable solutions to meet long term customers’ needs. Identify new technologies to develop integrated solutions to address grower problems.

Territorial Business Accountabilities

Identify portfolio gaps for key field crops and vegetables & provide proposalsKeep close liaison with R&D team to build understanding on new developments of SyngentaManage successful pre-launch demonstrations in coordination with sales & commercial teamsManage pre-launch field days with the help of sale team at successful demonstrationsKeep close contact with R&D colleagues to get technical assistanceDevelop & execute plans as per agreement with line managerInnovate your ideas/thinking to build confidence in commercial teamsUse new technology to bring innovation in sharing your findings with your customersKeep close eye on competition activities & new developments in agricultureDevelop close contact with Research Institutes/Academia to have firsthand information on new developments in agricultureDevelop close contact with farmers, understand their problems and provide technical & sustainable solutionsDraw a list of key challenges of Pakistan agriculture & consult to find out innovative solutions of their problemsDevelop a Learning and Development Center focused on crop programs and confidence building of stakeholders on NPIs.

Critical knowledge

Strong techno-commercial backgroundPreferably masters in Entomology, Pathology and AgronomyUpdated knowledge on key crops of PakistanInformation on important insects/pests of these cropsExperience in Farm Management
