We are seeking a highly motivated and technically accomplished Global R&D Leader for Wet Etch Cleans to lead innovation and new product development for advanced semiconductor applications. This leader will drive the global strategy, execution, and technical roadmap for wet etch and cleans chemistry solutions, supporting leading-edge nodes including advanced logic, memory, and heterogeneous integration.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead global R&D programs for wet etch cleans technologies, including formulation, process integration, and application development.

Define product strategy and innovation roadmap aligned with customer needs, market trends, and future node requirements (e.g., 2nm and below).

Collaborate closely with customers, process engineers, technologists, and business units to develop and commercialize differentiated solutions.

Manage a diverse, high-performing cross-functional team of scientists and engineers, ensuring alignment with global R&D goals.

Oversee formulation design, material characterization, DOE, and performance validation in collaboration with process integration teams.

Maintain deep technical understanding of semiconductor cleaning chemistries, including selective etching, post-etch residue removal, PR stripping, and front-end cleans.

Publish technical papers, present at key industry conferences (e.g., SPCC, SEMICON), and promote the company’s technical leadership.

Ensure compliance with global EHS, IP protection, and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications:

PhD or Master’s in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or related discipline.

8+ years of experience in semiconductor materials R&D, with at least 5 years in wet etch and cleans domain.

Proven track record in leading global R&D programs, preferably for top-tier IDM, foundry, or material suppliers.

Deep knowledge of advanced node challenges, especially FEOL cleans, EUV compatibility, and pattern integrity.

Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills with a global mindset.

Ability to travel internationally (20%) to support global labs and customers.

Prior experience interfacing directly with Tier-1 semiconductor customers (e.g., TSMC, Samsung, Intel).

Familiarity with formulation scale-up, tech transfer, and pilot production.

Knowledge of sustainability trends such as green chemistry principles.

Communication and presentation skill in English preferred
