Technical Documentation Manager

Summary of the job

The Flowserve Pump Division (FPD) Global Technical Document Control Manager is responsible for all historical pump documents (drawings, bills of material, instruction manuals, etc.) by supporting the day-to-day business, executing projects and developing continuous improvement processes. We are looking for a Technical Documentation Manager who sees the challenge to work on this global digitization project.

                                   

Your Role

In this job you will be the global leader for the document control team members

You will develop and carry out short-term and long-term strategies to digitize historical pump documents.

Handle document requests to support the aftermarket pump business (parts, units, repairs and upgrades) while maintaining good performance metrics

You have experience in improving processes, develop new ones and grow the team’s efficiency

Driving the key performance metrics for Year Over Year improvements in Safety, Quality, and Customer Experience.

Your Profile

BA or BS degree with related work in document control and 5+ year experience as a people leader

Must possess effective communication skills in verbal, writing, and listening

You’ve got good organizational skills, able to establish priorities and complete a high volume of work to meet deadlines

Work experience as a (Project) Manager and drive digitization to a success

Able to collaborate remotely with others on projects, but take the lead as required

Capability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced and changing work environment

Ability to influence-decision makers in the organization

Familiar with ISO 30401: Knowledge Management Systems

Willingness to visit your stakeholders and team members regularly and travel for 25-50% of the time

Have strong computer skills, to include but not limited to: Microsoft Office software applications
