Technical Analyst – Oracle Global Trade Management (GTM)

**Job Summary:**
The Oracle Global Trade Management (GTM) Technical Analyst will share the responsibility for design, implementation, and support of business solutions implemented in Emerson’s GTM instance along with Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) is the underlying technology that supports our Supply Chain Optimization (SCO) program. The Technical Analyst applies expertise in GTM/OTM to offer assistance in the continuous implementation, improvement, and support of SCO functionality.
**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:**
+ Provide support (e.g., break/fix, how to expertise, enhancements, monitoring, testing, solve) for the GTM/OTM application. Some current GTM functions include restricted party screening, item classification, ERP-GTM integration projects for Master Data and Export (Sales Orders) Transactional Screening. Near-term projects include ERP-GTM integration for expanded Export (Shipment/Delivery) Transactional Screening, Import (Purchase Order) Transactional Screening, License Management, etc.
+ Works closely with Trade Compliance and ERP IT Program/Project Managers to understand program requirements and assist with the evaluation mapping and alternative solutions if applicable.
+ Assist with program rollout activities, including business unit and trading partner on-boarding, project coordination, status reporting and communication to program management.
+ Works closely with 3rd-party technical personnel to optimize technical solutions and guarantee successful knowledge transfer to internal Technical Team members.
+ Monitoring processes, identifying trends, and analyzing data helps them develop long-term plans to prevent recurring issues and ensure high service levels.
+ Ensures SCO system documentation is complete and maintained.
+ Works effectively in a global highly matrixed team environment.

**For This Role, You Will Need:**
+ 4 to 8 years of experience in developing and supporting Oracle GTM/OTM solutions.
+ Functional and technical GTM expert in restricted party screening, item classification, ERP- Trade Compliance integration projects for Master Data and Export (Sales Orders) Transactional Screening
+ Familiarity with OTM (Setup configuration, shipment management, rates, master data, bulk planning parameters, VPDs, user configuration, screen set development, SQL queries, Tracking Events and working with CSV & XML files).
+ Hands on experience with triage of day-to-day GTM systems issues and providing resolution on complex issues.
+ Working knowledge of integration, EDI and any other Middleware systems.
+ Knowledge of Logistics management principles/processes and various ERP systems
+ Strong customer service orientation with strong written and verbal communication skills, including comfort with presenting to diverse technical and non-technical audiences at all levels of the organization.
+ Ability to multi-task and work within diverse multi-disciplinary global project teams.
+ Meticulous with strong problem-solving skills.
+ Comfortable with performing detailed data analysis to find opportunities and gain higher level insight.
+ Some travel required.
**Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field.
