Tax Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute back office and other administrative activities within the Tax function, in line with defined strategies, policies, and procedures. Each day, you will provide support for various projects and initiatives, including project risk reviews, contract structures, etc. You will also showcase your expertise by managing and preparing supporting documentation (e.g., tax transfer pricing documentation, support for tax returns, etc.).The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-HybridGlobal relocation/LTA support will not be considered for this position.This role is contributing to the Financial Functions from Mexico to LATAM.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tSupporting in the implementation of relevant standards, processes, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of corporate tax matters in your area of responsibility.•\tAssisting in all tax accounting and reporting activities within the scope of your tax practice/area.•\tProviding support during tax audits and any other requests from tax authorities.•\tPerforming Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICoFR) processes in the respective areas of responsibility.Our team dynamics You will join a dynamic team, where you will be able to thrive.

Qualifications for the role

\tYou have 2-3 years of experience in a multinational company.\tYou have experience calculating indirect, direct, and deferred taxes.\tYou have experience in general accounting, annual income tax returns, and account reconciliations.\tYou have experience with an ERP (preferably SAP).\tYou have knowledge of NIF and auditing.\tAbility to demonstrate your experience with Excel.\tKnowledge of USGAAP standards and experience in the analysis and interpretation of financial statements are an asset.\tYou can communicate easily in English at least in an intermediate level.\tYou have completed a bachelor's degree in public accounting or a related field.
