What does this team do at Thermo Fisher?

Builds digital solutions such as applications, automations, analytics and AI/ML tools for laboratory operations and business to improve processes and deliver insights. Mostly build tools from Microsoft products such as Power Apps, Power Automate, and PowerBI. However, the team delivers solutions utilizing R and Python as well. 

What does a Systems Specialist do here?

Performs intermediate in-system configurations and acts as a reviewer to system qualifications. Ensures customer success on supported applications. Serves as a coordinator of configuration implementations. 
Provides deliverables that are accurate, qualified, registered and comply with required formats and within established timelines.

What is the ideal candidate?

A person that has had experience building solutions in Power Apps and Power Automate. Experience with Hosted RPA and Azure Logic Apps is a plus. However, experience in R and Python usually carry over into strong programming understanding for Power Apps and Power Automate. Ability to work independently.

Essential Functions and Other Job Information: 
• Operates as a resource for the team to ensure success in the delivery of task 
completion.
• Reviews team documentation for quality, accuracy and adherence to business 
requirements to ensure compliance with organization and client policies and 
procedures.
• Participates in project teams as needed, contributing to direction on future 
enhancements to the system, reviewing change requests and ensuring effective
communication and accuracy in testing.

•Ability to organize workload independently and execute on projects.

•Collaborates with other developers to deliver on higher priority solutions for the business.

Qualifications: 
Education and Experience: 
Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 2+ years).
In some cases an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role. 

Power Apps and Power Automate is required.

Experience with Hosted RPA and Azure Logic Apps is a plus.

• Advanced knowledge of system template or report development
