Verification Engineer for Volvo Bus

We are looking for a 600V Verification Engineer for Volvo Bus

The group mission within Traction Voltage System is to perform the Electromobility SW & System verification  in a global level according to baseline releases, securing quality and maturity of the Emob systems functionalities.

To succeed in the role as verification engineer you shall have the interest in test and verification. Experience in the area is valuable, but interest and a front-leaning personality strikes high for this position.

 

 

Main area of responsibility

Electromobility SW & System verification for Buses Fault tracing using Canalyser, Engineering tool and other Volvo tools Develop, write, perform, and report test cases based on system requirements Work with BEV, and with different software and vehicle architectures Being involved in Bug fixes with data analysis extracted from the vehicle Securing quality and readiness before release Working with maintenance and quality items. Support on the Emob ECU releases securing the correct specification of the Sw

 

 

Qualifications:

Electrical Engineering degree. Test and verification experience, preferrable from automotive Strong communication and presentation skills in Portuguese and English, both spoken and written. Being able to bring improvement ideas to the area, both in process and deliveries Strong sense of responsability and team work A good complete product overview, connecting cross functional areas to the final product delivery Proactive mindset and approach. Good organizational and planning skills. Ability to work in a local and global cross-functional network. Fluent in English.

Spanish Communication Experience from BEV vehicles Experience from Vector tools such as CANalyzer and CANoe Experience from diagnostics Volvo tools, such as Tech Tool, Engineering Tool and Prosit Experience from Volvo software documentation tools, such as Protom, SWConfigurator, SEWs & Kola This selection process will be conducted with the support of the consulting firm A Priori RH
