Job Description Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sustainability Intern to support our Europe and Pacific Developed Markets (EPDM) ESG team in collecting and consolidating data, managing records, and facilitating global support requests related to our sustainability initiatives and ESG regulatory compliance requirements. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping us achieve our sustainability goals, including reducing our environmental impact, promoting animal welfare, and upholding human rights.

Responsibilities: Assist in data collection, analysis and reporting for various sustainability initiatives ESG support: support the completion of customer questionnaires and facilitate global support requests related to ESG initiatives Regulatory ESG Compliance: support on upcoming EU regulatory matters such as European Deforestation Regulation, Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation and Forced Labor Regulation Maintain the accuracy and integrity of our Net Zero Tracker for EPDM Conduct research on industry trends and emerging best practices. Qualifications:

Job requirements:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, engineering, environmental science, marketing, public relations, or another relevant field.

You should have good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.  

You are enrolled at a Dutch university for at least 50% of the internship duration.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Interest in sustainability/ESG.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.

Curiosity, positivity & passion: You’re curious, positive, and enthusiastic. People know you as the driver of the team.

Ability to Simplify: We like to keep it simple. And to execute fast. Your ability to simplify will be highly appreciated when you provide simple solutions dealing with complex challenges.

What we offer you:

Program start date: August/September 2025 

Duration: 6-6.5 months

Allowance: 625 euro per month (40hrs, 5 days) & full reimbursement of travel expenses 

Location: Amsterdam, hybrid 

Hybrid policy: We work 60% of the week in the office and have the right to work 40% from home. However, you will still need to be based in the Netherlands for the entire duration of the internship.
