Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.
Ensures systems operate seamlessly, and effectively by providing essential support, training, and expertise to end-users while actively enhancing system usability and data integrity. Provide subject matter expertise that governs system and process changes to meet global standards and deliver business value. By maintaining comprehensive system knowledge, documentation and supporting system expansions, it enables consistent operational continuity.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain advanced knowledge of supply chain system to ensure operations and optimal data flow Leads minor system enhancements and regional rollouts Support cross-functional projects and system upgrades to ensure solutions deliver business value Troubleshoot/resolve intermediate-level system issues in collaboration with IT, users and SMEs Lead system testing and validation for system updates and enhancements Maintain process documentation, training materials and conduct Train-the-Trainer sessions for users Engage with regional teams to ensure smooth implementation of new system functionalities Provide governance of system configuration and process changes to ensure standards Assist in M&A system integration and system expansion projects Support regional implementation of standardized processes Monitor and analyze system usage metrics to identify process improvement opportunities Experiences/Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, IT, or related field. +7 years of experience enabling Advanced Supply Chain Systems (APS, WMS,etc) or ERP (SAP ECC/S4). Strong knowledge of supply chain workflows, data flows, and system configurations. Experience leading training sessions and supporting system rollouts. Analytical skills for process troubleshooting and data analysis. Capable to comprehend, analyze, and solve complex process problems Ability to work cross-functionally with IT, business users, and SMEs.
