Supply Chain Raw Material Planner
Supply Chain Raw Material Planner City Ciudad de Mexico State/Province Distrito Federal Overview:

The Supply Chain Raw Material Planner role will have responsibility for both tactical and strategic balancing of supply/demand/inventory for the Engineered Materials (EM) business line portfolio. This individual must collaborate effectively across all functional groups and the broader Engineered Materials (EM) Core with a strong drive for results. The role will require quick but effective analysis of complex problems for recommendations in line with strategic business imperatives. A strong focus on communication and the free flow of information is important for success in this role. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals with high level technical skills to gain exposure to the commercial functions of the EM business line.

Responsibilities: Collaborate with Manufacturing team, Logistics, Logistics Procurement, Business management and Finance and other Celanese planners to optimize both tactical (daily) and strategic (long term) supply/demand balance for EM product in line with entire EM strategic business imperatives.Maintain production and inventory plans based on inventory targets and strategic business imperatives.Provide input for approval of Constrained Consensus, Demand Forecast based upon known supply constraintsMaintain planning parameters data in system. ( Lead time, Min lot size, Safety stock, procurement keys )Provide and execute recommendations that consider cost, service levels and strategic business imperatives.Work with Network Optimization resources to determine inventory targets aligned with network capability and strategic business imperativesMaintain EM Americas SAP Material Master Data (tabs MRP1, MRP2, MRP3, MRP4)Back up for other EM Americas Raw Material Planner if needed.Ensures smooth functioning of end-to-end supply chains through effective planning processes and business integration.Provide RM forecast/requirements to procurement team. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in supply chain Mgmt., Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.5 to 7 years of related experience in a manufacturing operation and or supply chain planning role.3 Plus years of Finite Scheduling experience (E.g.: Combination of raw material, Supply planning, Purchasing, Logistics (finished goods), and execution).Experience with SAP MRP Scheduling preferred.APICS certification preferred.Experience w/ advanced planning / scheduling solutions preferred (e.g., JDA/Blue Yonder).Experience in a chemical compounding environment preferred.Strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills required.
