We are currently looking for an IFMS (Infrastructure, Facility Management Services) Supervisor in Neuchâtel, Switzerland.

 

In this position you will be responsible to ensure the uninterrupted availability of utilities for the site(s) by ensuring buildings operations in the most cost efficient and effective manner; establishing and managing energy policy, providing expert advice concerning facility management; establishing and monitoring the contracts with IFMS suppliers and managing a team in order to develop technical, managerial skills and high performance.

 

Your responsibilities:

 

Sustainability / Environment, health and Safety

Act as role model of safety leadership by ensuring all employees under your supervision understand and follow the Company' Sustainability policies and procedures along with all applicable legal and statutory requirements.Hold the responsibility for the occupational health and safety within your department and implementation of the Sustainability Management Program.Take corrective actions in case of potential breach of compliance or conflict of interest. Contribute to the development and improvement of above cultures/procedures in cooperation with the Sustainability department and managers. Follow ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001, PMI QMS, AWS requirements.

 

Team management

Manage, coach and motivate staff, organize training programs and delegate appropriate responsibilities in order to develop personal, technical skills and high performance and achieve company goals and objective.Create an organization that provides professional, effective partnership to all factory departments which helps achieve all factory targets.

 

Budget management:

Continuously monitor Utilities and IFMS costs for improving performance, reducing operational costs and enhance productivity.Evaluate options between in-house and outsourced resources and between core and non-core business activities.Investigate new technologies and practices which could optimize operational costs.

 

Activities coordination:

Ensure that a cost-effective preventive maintenance plan is elaborated for assets. Plan, organize and control the maintenance interventions with minimum interference for Operations and other activities, on non-production machinery and equipment, handling equipment, utility systems, distribution systems and buildings, while aligning with local laws and the company’s Sustainability requirements, thus contributing to improved efficiency and productivity.Based on mutually agreed Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators, manage the contractors in terms of all IFMS fields in order to meet company objectives, quality, cost, safety standards, contracts conditions and customer satisfaction.

 

Continuous improvements:

Initiate, develop / design or supervise the design of programs/ projects allowing to improve utilities and infrastructure to improve manufacturing performance in terms of cost and energy water savings.Ensure utilities technical development by implementing new techniques and practices in order to achieve better performance.

 

We’re looking for someone with:

 

College/University degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, etc.).> 3 years professional experience in Facilities Management, Engineering, Manufacturing with supervision experienceMS Office PackageExperience in Safety ManagementFluent English & French (oral & written)Good communication skillsAnalytical thinking, problem solving and strong drive for resultAction oriented mindsetTeamwork, Leadership with ability to motivate others
