Work Arrangement: This role is categorized as on-site. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to GM Academy full time.
Your Role:
As a Quality Engineering Intern, you will play a key role in supporting electric vehicle (EV) testing, thermal evaluations, safety process implementation, and product improvement initiatives. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in vehicle quality engineering, develop technical and analytical skills, and contribute to the future of mobility in the region.
What You'll Do:
Provide hands-on support for EV testing and evaluation in the region, contributing to planning and product/technology understanding.Assist in thermal testing scenarios and collaborate with the Quality Engineering team to gather data and generate reports.Implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for safety measures and support mitigation planning for identified hazards in the Quality area.Participate in the Problem Issue Resolution (PIR) process to enhance vehicle durability and customer satisfaction.Collect and analyze engineering data for upcoming SGMW vehicles during summer 2025, including the creation of technical charts and documentation.Hands-on work with charging equipment and vehicles is required.Your Skills & Abilities:
Education Background:
Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.Required Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Required Competencies:
