**Core Responsibilities**
Key tasks:
+ Understand the health and safety data
+ Support the existing process for chemical approval of materials
+ Support development of best practice for efficient chemical management
+ Support cleaning up and structuring data
+ Back up for chemical specialists
Purpose of the role:
The EHS department has a basic data analysis setup based on information gathered from the Safety Data Sheet, SDS, received from the material supplier. This data is used for evaluating the material from a people safety perspective with the ambition to keep people safety when working with materials.
To reach that goal, we are looking for a Bachelor degree student worker with an interest in working with material data.

The department:
The purpose of the global health and safety department (25 employees) is to set direction and ambition regarding health and safety in the LEGO Group and drive globalization and standardization of best practices across LEGO Group striving towards zero accidents. The global health and safety department acts as a center of excellence and supports the organization on several specialist areas within health and safety
This role is an excellent opportunity to be part of a team working cross-functionally with global responsibility focusing on the health and safety of all employees. The role gives an end to end understanding of the value chain and offers an opportunity to exercise influence through broad organizational exposure and to learn and get diverse insights to various parts of organization and most of the value chain. Employee health and safety is a high priority in the LEGO Group. The global environment is both fun and challenging. Collaborating across cultures and time zones is both demanding and rewarding by linking everyone together, finding best, suitable solution. Being in a global role facilitates the comprehension of the holistic picture of the company and put things into perspective.
**Do you have what it takes?**
+ It is a prerequisite that you are enrolled in an educational institution during your employment as a student worker
+ Interest in working with material data
+ Structuring and cleaning up data
+ Chemical understanding
+ Structured approach to working with data
+ Good collaboration skills
+ English at fluent level is required
