Summary:
Thales Japan Strategic Client Director (SCD) is responsible for introducing the entire Thales Cyber Security Portfolio (Data Security solution, Application Security solution, Identity and Management solution) to Thales existing strategic accounts which are nominated around 200 accounts globally.
After the acquisition of Imperva, Thales is trying to expand our integrated entire portfolio to the existing top accounts.
In FY2025 Thales Japan Strategic Client Director (SCD) will handle NTT Group, Toyota Group, JCB Group and Nomura Research Institute as SCD accounts.
SCD has a full responsibility to maximize the revenue from the assigned accounts, introducing Thales business value as trusted adviser, coordinating and managing all internal resource.
Expected to lead the data security market with customers and deliver the consistent revenue performance and growth according to assigned quarterly sales quota.
Qualification Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree required
Experience:
Experience in direct sales for the top accounts in any filed.
Open doors and develop relationship using in internal & external resources.
Ability to find and approach the stakeholders within the assigned accounts.
Relationship management for senior management level as a trusted partner.
Experience in working at major System Integrators (IBM, NTT Data,NEC, Hitachi, Fujitsu, NRI etc.) are preferable
Experience in closely working with Consulting firms (Accenture, Deloitte, PwC) are preferable
Skills:
Strong direct sales skills to penetrate the targeted accounts.
Experienced in discovering and exploring client needs to drive the revenue with targeted solutions.
Cyber security business knowledge
Native Japanese language and business level English language capability
Strong communication/ presentation skills with the ability to engage with all levels (working level to senior management level) .
Understanding of decision-making process, operational model, overall business strategies, commercial flows etc. for the targeted accounts.
Business planning skills and proven ability to execute and deliver on a defined plan,
Ability to thrive under pressure and to perform job functions independently with limited supervision.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Build a business plan with the customers and gain Executive commitment to move forward
Build an assigned account plans and perform quarterly reviews with the sales executive management.
