We are looking for a seasoned technical product manager to own the product strategy, development, launch, and ongoing execution for new applications. In this position, you will play a pivotal role defining product requirements, setting the go-to-market strategy, and tirelessly championing the needs of our customers. Given the breadth of these new applications, this role will require coordination across many internal and external teams and will be visible at the highest levels of the company. You’ll work with our customers, partners, software vendors, and operational stakeholders to prioritize roadmap features, and spearhead the definition of new capabilities through expertly crafted business requirements documents.
Key job responsibilities
Strategic Vision & Product Leadership:
- Define and champion the long-term vision for the AWS Decisioning and Planning platform across industry verticals, developing strategic roadmaps that align with AWS's broader business strategy and market opportunities
- Drive comprehensive product lifecycle management, including market research, competitive analysis, positioning, and product launch strategies
- Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for product enhancement and innovation
Product Development & Execution:
- Translate complex customer and technical requirements into clear, actionable product specifications that drive platform evolution- Partner with engineering teams to execute the product roadmap, defining business requirements and launch timelines
- Own end-to-end product launch processes, including estimation, goal-setting, and stakeholder management- Proactively manage and communicate launch status, including risk mitigation and contingency planning
Stakeholder Management & Communication:
- Serve as the technical advocate for customers, representing their needs and challenges to the product development team
- Effectively communicate product vision, roadmap, and key initiatives to internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership- Build and maintain strong relationships across functions to ensure alignment and successful execution of platform initiatives
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related technical field
- 5+ years experience as a Technical Product Manager, with proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS products
- Demonstrated experience managing full product lifecycle from conception through go-to-market (GTM)
- Strong technical acumen with ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, customer-centric product requirements- Experience working with cross-functional teams and driving consensus among multiple stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience building and launching AI/ML-powered solutions, cloud platforms and distributed systems
- Prior experience in supply chain technology, logistics, healthcare, financial services, or related industry domains
- Startup experience or track record of driving innovation in fast-paced environments- Advanced degree (MS/MBA) in technical field or business administration

The AWS Supply Chain Applications team builds powerful, intuitive, and market-defining business to help our customers stay ahead of their changing business needs, and remove the burden of undifferentiated heavy lifting that business users go through daily. We are building a new category of AWS applications that will leverage the power of machine learning and the large ecosystem of AWS services such as SageMaker, AWS Lambda, Amazon S3, and Amazon QuickSight to provide a truly frustration-free, easy-to-use, extensible, and natural customer experience. Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
