The Senior Accountant, Off Road is a key member of the Off Road Accounting Team and will have a key role in the integrity and accuracy of the business unit’s financial results and related processes. Reporting to the Off Road Controller, this role will be involved in accounting for reserves, revenue recognition, inventory, account reconciliations, monthly financial statement reviews, internal controls, and financial systems administration.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close.
+ Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information.
+ Prepare key reserves for quarterly review and forecast input.
+ Prepare monthly P&L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting.
+ Perform month-end and quarter-end close procedures, such as preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.
+ Partner with Corporate Finance and Business Unit teams to drive financial integrity by developing system and process controls to timely identify and address inaccurate data
+ Identify, propose, and lead projects to execute on process improvements.
+ Develop and document business processes and Finance policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
+ Continuously analyze current automation of the accounting and reporting process and present improvement suggestions.
+ Designing how new/existing transactions are processed systematically to ensure proper accounting.
+ Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors.
+ Prepare Ad Hoc data requests and project work as requested
**EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
+ CPA strongly preferred
+ Professional Proficiency in Spanish
+ 3-5 years of experience in public accounting and/or manufacturing industry preferred
+ Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 compliance

+ Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of individuals
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills to all levels of the organization
+ Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
+ Proactive, independent thinker who will continuously look for ways to improve processes
+ Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables; experience with MAPICS, and/or OneStream is a plus
**WORKING CONDITIONS:**
+ Standard, fast-paced office environment
+ Hybrid work environment (3 days/week average in office)
+ Some travel will be required

The pay range for Minnesota is $80,000 to $105,000 per year. Individual salaries are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.
