Sr Manager APAC PCG Marketing

ACCOUNTABILITY:

 

The position will interface across functions to facilitate and lead business initiatives that result in differentiating Lubrizol as a supplier in the coatings target markets and is accountable for developing a comprehensive understanding of current market trends and customer needs that result in product offerings and value propositions company can offer to drive innovation project profitable business growth.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Lead the development and execution of marketing strategies for PCG AP Perform market segment and business opportunity analysis to provide market insights, trends and competitor status through market studies Develop business case for target markets for Performance Coatings to become differentiated leader Develop growth plans by understanding the market/customer’s needs and business Identify product development needs, evaluate productiveness and marketing initiatives ROI Identify any gaps with current capabilities and develop action plans to address those gaps Lead and facilitate business development growth projects Interaction with global innovation team to drive regional innovation projects Tailor marketing activities to regional needs throughout Asia Pacific Develop and supervise regional marketing budget

 

 

REQUIREMENTS – EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:

 

Education & Professional Background:

 

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, chemistry, or chemical engineering. Minimum 5 years of strategic marketing and business development experience. Experience in Coatings (Graphic Arts) market segment. (Raw material supplier, Formulator)

 

 

Knowledge & Skills

 

Commercial development acumen including value chain analysis, customer needs analyses, value proposition. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated leadership and team facilitating skills. Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix organization and business team environment. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills in order to drive results through cross functional environments.
