This high-visibility position will lead and promote our proven business continuity framework, providing innovative solutions and strategic guidance to the Kuiper program. You'll join a dynamic team of security and business continuity experts who work directly with business leaders to enhance organizational resilience. Based in Seattle, this role reports to the Global Head of CBC, where you'll have the platform to make a significant impact on Kuiper’s Business Continuity strategy while working with some of the industry's brightest minds. Key job responsibilities - Lead the Kuiper BCM program ensuring ISO 22301 compliance - Develop and maintain BCM policies, standards, and procedures - Oversee Business Impact Analysis, Business Continuity Plans, and Risk Assessment processes - Drive continuous improvement of BC plans and capabilities - Partner with Crisis Management teams to ensure program alignment - Manage BCM metrics and executive reporting - Lead BC exercise program and improvement initiatives A day in the life Your morning begins with reviewing overnight incident reports and updating the BC Management (BCM) dashboard. You then lead a Business Impact Analysis workshop with the Kuiper ground station team, helping them identify critical business functions, recovery time objectives, and dependencies. After lunch, you present the quarterly BCM metrics to leadership, highlighting program maturity improvements and key risks. Later, you collaborate with the Crisis Management team to plan an upcoming tabletop exercise. You end your day reviewing and providing feedback on updated Business Continuity Plans from various teams. About the team Diverse Experiences Amazon Security values diverse experiences. The base pay for this position ranges from $107,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $229,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
