Specialist System Verification Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a Specialist System Verification Engineer with strong experience in verifying low voltage power management systems in automotive applications. This role involves designing and executing verification strategies at Model-in-the-Loop (MIL), Software-in-the-Loop (SIL), Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Vehicle levels. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to validate features of low voltage power management system along and ensuring safety and compliance with automotive standards.

Job Description

As a Specialist System Verification Engineer, on a typical day, you are

Defining and leading verification strategies, plans, and roadmaps for low voltage power management systems across MIL,SIL,HIL and Vehicle levels Driving early verification planning in collaboration with systems, software, functional safety, and quality teams Developing and optimizing test architectures, simulation models, and automation frameworks to support scalable verification Defining and validating the test environments Setting up and maintaining HIL test benches Validating features such as load switching, power mode transitions (sleep/wake-up), voltage monitoring, short-circuit and overcurrent protection, and network wake-up mechanisms Ensure complete traceability between requirements, tests, and verification artifacts Mentor junior team members and contribute to long-term test automation and verification process improvements Align test activities with industry standard processes and support assessments and audits as needed Contribute to forecasting the test infrastructure needs and presenting business case for the investments Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automotive Engineering, or a related field with 9 to 12 years of experience 5+ years of experience in automotive embedded system verification at MIL/SIL/HIL and Vehicle levels. Strong knowledge of MATLAB-Simulink, Vector CANoe/CANalyzer, and Python or CAPL scripting. Strong understanding of low voltage electrical distribution, relay/fuse behavior, load management, and sleep mode strategies. Deep understanding of vehicle networks and protocols: CAN, LIN and Ethernet. Experience with functional safety concepts and practices per ISO 26262 Familiarity with model-based design (MBD) lifecycle and Simulink Test, Embedded Coder, or TargetLink workflows. ISTQB Certification is a Merit. Experience with test automation, continuous integration, and test management systems (e.g., Jenkins, Git tools) Exposure to AUTOSAR Classic/Adaptive Ability to define and influence long-term verification strategies and roadmaps for evolving low voltage power management architectures. Proven experience in strategy definition, planning, and execution of verification for complex automotive ECUs or subsystems. Leadership in cross-functional environments and experience in verification team coordination. Why Join Us?
