Degree in IT and/or finance obtained at College or University Fluent in English Database management and SQL skills ERP system knowledge Strong Microsoft Office skills

Preferred:

Good problem solving and communication ability Good analytical skill. VBA skills  Project Management experience Experience in EBS Oracle Applications Ability to problem solving and evaluate customers’ needs Ability to work under pressure while managing accuracy Flexible and multi-tasking. Ability to prioritize, manage large number of cases, adjust changing priorities

Howmet is looking for a Specialist to support its System Support team:

 

This position is responsible to ensure the effective operation, utilization and development of certain systems and e-solutions, including but not limited to various modules of Oracle EBS (RtP/AP, GL, Cash management, FA, PA, AR), other applications (Payload, IIPS connections, Netlock, Quantum, Concur, Pi2P) or built-in applications (ARMP, AOC, KSZH) and to provide customer/technical support of the same.

 

Key activities:

 

Provide functional application expertise to facilitate set-up, implementation, development, upgrade and ongoing maintenance of the systems and e-solutions related to the particular position Provide proactive support, advice & guidance through research of the subject area(s) to support business development and understanding. Acts as an expert resource for location personnel in answering questions and providing direction on subject matter. Understand business issues and translate that into application set-up and solutions. Quick problem resolution for high severity issues. Solves problems to root cause to prevent recurrence. Application expertise of the subject area(s), provide guidance for strategic business projects Work together with other members of Solutions Support Team assuring GIS Track and EBS PMO support for effective issue resolution. Keep contact and work together with GBS IS technical support and development teams in issue resolution, development and implementation of new processes, programs, etc. with regard to areas of responsibility Keep contact and work together with the different application vendors to effectively manage issue resolution, upgrade or implementation processes related to these specific applications Establish and maintain professional working relationship with BU’s and RU’s organizations providing supportive background for business issues and solutions.  Replaces/substitutes other team members as per instruction of the supervisor.  Maintain and build knowledge around the different areas, where nominated as a backup Support reporting/automation initiatives with track related Database knowledge and utilizing SQL skills Interacting with BU/RU employees, managers, Solutions team members, project stakeholders on daily basis via telephone, emails and SNOW tickets Managing high volume of work at particular periods of the business cycle even outside the normal working hours Working with multiple software applications Applies user manuals, SOP-s, procedures issued and used by SSC in the daily work  Performs compliance related tasks, such as ASAT tests and replying to ad-hoc audit requests.
