As the Sourcing Operations Specialist you will work globally with key stakeholders; leading improvement projects utilizing Danaher’s DBS tools to support Cytiva’s source to pay process. Additionally, you will work directly with Cytiva requesters, suppliers, and BuyDesk operations by providing coaching, teaching, and escalation support for indirect procurement working in Oracle, SAP, HICX, and Basware. The position supports and provides project management for regional mergers, acquisitions, and expansions of operations for source to pay (supplier on boarding, data loads, system testing, communications).  In addition, the Sourcing Operations Specialist works with Cytiva’s Global Supply Chain supporting Cytiva’s regional distribution centers handling supplier escalations related to setup, resourcing, delivery, quality, cash and cost.

What you’ll do

Coach and support internal clients in overall source to pay process, from purchase requisition creation to invoice payment.Identify systemic problems within Cytiva’s S2P processes and lead or support process improvements using problem solving tools, such as Standard Work, Value Stream Mapping, Pareto Analysis, Fishbone, Process Mapping, 5 Why, etc.Manage the Cytiva’s purchase order process for assigned regions, reviewing no PO violations, and aged orders.Provide support for assigned regions for supplier onboarding, and compliance, becoming fluent in Cytiva’s overall supplier/source to pay policies.Solve complex supplier issues related to late/non-payment working with requesters/Cytiva APManage suppliers for assigned distribution centers, handling escalations related to price, quality, and delivery.Support complex purchase requestion creation, material/service receipts, and invoice resolution for assigned regions/teams working with offshore buy desk operations. Advocate and partner with strategic sourcing teams and accounts payable to ensure Cytiva sourcing and payables policies are adhered to, and strategic suppliers are utilized.Work with key strategic suppliers, Cytiva strategic sourcing, and IT to grow and expand indirect material punchout supplier sites for assigned region(s).Create work instructions, guides, and videos to help requesters navigate the source to pay process

Who you are

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (preferred) or equivalent experience in source to pay and purchasing.Experience with supplier information management systems, accounts payables, Oracle or similar source to pay support platforms.Languages: English & Chinese, written and verbal, Japanese or Korean nice to haveAbility to manage multiple priorities in parallel, both short and long term.Willingness to self-learn and uncover continuous improvement ideas.Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization and across regions.Drive for results utilizing project management, organizational, communication and problem-solving skillsEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a matrixed reporting environment, with primary manager in US.
