Sourcing Project Manager – USA West Region
Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS) is part of Honeywell Building Automation. HBS Install Projects focuses on new building contracts for Building Management Systems, Fire Detection Solutions, Security Systems, HVAC, Heating and Boilers, and Water Pumps. This position aims to strengthen our contractor base by finding, onboarding, and developing contractors to ensure competitive solutions for electrical and mechanical installations in verticals such as Datacenters, Hospitals, Pharmaceutical Buildings, EV Battery Plants.
The ideal candidate will have experience in this dealing with electrical and mechanical contractors on new project sites, have procurement and negotiation expertise, and may also have estimating or project management experience for these types of jobs. Working procurement awards between $500K to $10M.
You will report to the Director of Strategic Sourcing on a Hybrid Work Schedule Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F.
Preferred location: Houston, Phoenix or LA, supporting the west coast. Central or West coast time zone preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Drive and execute Annual and Strategic Plans with supporting strategies 3.
+ Take total ownership for driving cross-functional alignment and ensuring productivity (savings) goals are met
+ Execute strategies quickly and effectively to align with business growth and new product introductions
+ Manage Category and Commodity Strategies, including spend analysis, benchmarking, cost, market analysis, and global technology/economic trends around major projects
+ Find, onboard, and build relationships with key suppliers and subcontractor leadership
+ Build a world-class workforce by recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent
+ Align with Sales, Marketing, Technology, Business, Operations, Finance, Quality, and other Honeywell businesses
+ Establish and drive contractor and materials procurement for Service and Multisite, working across functions in alignment with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Strategic Plan
+ Drive competitive supply strategies to achieve the lowest Total Cost and reduced Working Capital through negotiation planning and execution, High Growth Region Sourcing, Value Engineering, and Sole/Single Source elimination
+ Manage Supplier Performance to support business needs and ensure supply continuity and subcontract availability
+ Manage multiple projects in a dynamic global environment
+ Ensure compliance with company business policies and procedures, Export/Import regulations

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Connecticut, and Hawaii is $82,00 - $110,000. For Washington and most major metropolitan areas in New York & California, the annual base salary range is $90,000 - $115,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

YOU MUST HAVE
+ 6+ years' experience in supporting projects services, ideally in contract management, negotiation, and/or subcontractor sourcing
+ Related bachelor's degree, ideally an MBA or master's degree
WE VALUE
+ Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or similar
+ Professional certifications in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM)
+ Experience contracting electrical and/or mechanical subcontractors
+ Experience in a global sourcing environment and managing suppliers across different regions
+ Demonstrated ability to drive cost savings and process improvements
+ Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
+ Strong analytical and innovative mindset to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
+ Proficient in Data analytics tools such as Excel
