The Direct Sourcing Leader, Biotechnology Integrated will be responsible for the execution of Supply/Sourcing strategies along with contract management to meet business objectives. This will be achieved by proactive assessment, development and monitoring of the supply base, contract management and tracking, and driving sourcing performance metrics.
This position is part of the Direct Sourcing team located in Marlborough, MA and will be onsite. This role reports to the Sr. Sourcing Manager – Hardware Solutions/BIS.
What you’ll do:
+ Leverage broader/global Hardware sourcing organization to execute strategy and world class support to our BIS organization which includes Equipment Services, Manufacturing Capacity Solutions, and Digital & Automation.
+ Lead Contract management discussion coordinating/negotiating supply agreements, statement of works, and all other contract vehicles.
+ Drive and help develop targeted level performance on sourcing KPIs across BIS organization – including Cost, Quality, Delivery, OTD, Security of Supply and drive sustainability efforts.
+ Utilize Lean/Continuous improvement/Danaher Business Systems to process efficiency focused on sourcing processes and tools.
+ Lead the development and execution of a savings pipeline for assigned commodities and suppliers, including accountability for meeting deflation and savings targets.
Who you are:
+ Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, procurement or technical area preferred with 3+ years’ experience in sourcing or procurement including RFP-RFQ, Supplier Selection, Sourcing Execution.
+ Strong contract management skills with the ability to negotiate pricing and supply agreements, statement of work, and other contract agreements.
+ Collaborates with internal and external customers in mind; establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect.
+ Demonstrated interpersonal communications and negotiation skills with ability to influence across multiple functional areas to include across functions and geographies.
+ Proven skills in impacting strong decision making with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization; preferably global stakeholders.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
+ 10% travel as required
+ Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
+ Supplier Management
+ Cost (Inflation/Deflation) Management
+ Contract Management
