You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying sophisticated, cloud-native supply chain applications specifically tailored for the complex needs of automotive OEMs. This is a hands-on role requiring deep technical expertise in modern web technologies and cloud platforms, combined with the ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor team members. Key Responsibilities: * Lead the design and development of robust, scalable, and secure cloud-native applications hosted on AWS. * Develop high-quality, well-tested code for both front-end (React) and back-end (Node.js) components. * Architect solutions leveraging appropriate AWS services (e.g., Lambda, EKS, ECS, S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway, Step Functions, SQS/SNS) following best practices. * Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to translate complex business requirements for automotive supply chains into technical solutions. * Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers within an agile development team. * Drive best practices in software engineering, including CI/CD, automated testing, infrastructure-as-code, observability, and security. * Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance in development and production environments. * Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and software development trends. **Required technical and professional expertise** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. * Minimum of 7+ years of professional software development experience. * Minimum of 5+ years of significant hands-on experience designing, building, and deploying cloud-native applications, with deep expertise in AWS. * Proven, extensive hands-on development expertise (5+ years) using React for front-end development and Node.js for back-end development within an AWS environment. * Demonstrated experience leading technical projects or acting as a technical lead for a development team. * Experience building complex, data-intensive enterprise applications (experience in supply chain management is highly desirable). * Strong understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and event-driven design patterns. * Proficiency with database technologies (SQL and/or NoSQL like DynamoDB). * Solid grasp of software engineering fundamentals, agile methodologies, version control (Git), and CI/CD practices. * Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. This Job can be Performed from anywhere in the US. **Preferred technical and professional experience** * Direct experience developing software solutions specifically for Automotive OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers. * Experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes/EKS). * Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, AWS CloudFormation). * Familiarity with other major cloud platforms (Azure, GCP). * Knowledge of specific automotive supply chain processes (e.g., JIT/JIS, logistics, VMS, warranty management). * Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
