Cisco Cloud Security is a leading provider of network security services, enabling the world to connect to the Internet and private applications with confidence on any device, anywhere, anytime. The Secure Access team is building the next generation of zero trust, firewall, proxy, and inspection services as highly available distributed systems using cloud engineering practices.

 Your Impact

• You will be part of Secure Access team. Help us launch the next generation of cloud-delivered access and security services and deliver a stronger offering with unprecedented customer experience.

• You will be part of our engineering team composed of highly skilled individuals who are comfortable working in a fast-paced and technically exciting environment..

• You will be involved with all stages of the product development process, from solving complex engineering problems to working directly with customers.

Minimum Qualifications

 • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field

• 4+ years of experience years of experience with Go/C/Python.

• Excited about developing cloud-native solutions to network and security problems.

• Strong programming skills and are passionate about both building and running applications.

• Great problem-solver and trouble-shooter

Preferred Qualifications 

• Basics of Computer Networking protocols - L3/L4/L7, TCP, UDP, IP, HTTP, DNS.

• Linux internals and the open-source stack

• Experience working with Public Cloud service AWS/Azure/GCP

• Monitoring and observability tools and techniques

• Continuous integration and continuous deployment Working with Web proxies

• Cloud-native architectures, microservices and cloud applications

• DevOps, SRE, and Agile practices; iterative development
