Job Duties: Manage a team that designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc. As a manager of the software engineering division, you will apply your knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture. May have direct reports. May telecommute. (385.23416)

 

Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a software development – related occupation. Position requires:

Designing, developing application integrations using Restful APIs, service-to-service communication protocols; Designing, developing, and building software systems; Object-oriented software engineering methodologies and effective unit testing; Java programming language; Software development in Linux environment; Data structures and algorithms; Leading group of engineers to deliver software solutions;  Virtualization technologies like Dockers and containers; and Operational Improvements and Engineering Excellence.
