Some examples of IGT Systems products are Cardless Connect or the Advantage suite. We are looking for a Software Developer Engineer in Test (SDET) who can contribute to the testing of such innovative solutions within IGT systems and deliver a world class customer experience. The successful candidate will have a passion for quality and a solid track of record designing and implementing automation solutions for complex systems, leveraging off-the-shelf and custom frameworks. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES** **Primary responsibilities include:** • Designing/implementing robust and scalable test scenarios and automation • Work closely with the Development teams to envisage best automation strategies across the organization • Participate in design and code reviews, measure code coverage, assess overall system quality for one or multiple Systems products • Executing and evaluating the results of the automated test runs and performing code coverage analysis for one or multiple Systems products **Additional responsibilities include:** Participating in specifications reviews; writing clear and concise bug reports; contribute to the departmental goals for process and efficiency improvement; provide project status reports; contribute to product documentation reviews; perform and lead root cause analysis using various QA methodologies; provide product demos and trainings. **QUALIFICATIONS** • Master/Bachelor’s of Science degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent industry experience • 0-2 years’ experience in developing automated black and/or white box testing with some of the common white-box test frameworks in the industry today (JUnit, Mocha, Jasmine, JMeter, Selenium, etc.) • Programming experience with one or more of the following languages and technologies: Java, JavaScript, NodeJS, C#, HTML/5, Angular, CSS, REST • Strong trouble-shooting skills, and capable of reviewing source code and developing functional tests against it • Experience in planning test effort for large-scale complex projects • Must be detail oriented, organized and able to multi-task • Have a passion for software quality and is a champion for the end user • Excellent verbal and written communication and ability to work in a collaborative environment **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** • Experience working with the following technologies: Jenkins, Linux, CRI-O • Experience with Agile/Scrum software development and tools (Jira, Confluence, X-Ray) • Experience working with Virtualization and Kubernetes **First Year Goals** • Learn and understand the product functionalities, architecture and design • Learn the Systems QA processes, practices and tools in use • Get fully acquainted with the Agile scrum process and team • Understand and execute current automated test suites and identify further areas for automation • Work closely with Development teams: participate in design and code reviews, measure code coverage, assess overall system quality • Executing and evaluating the results of the automated test runs and performing test coverage analysis • Writing clear and concise bug reports • Provide project status reports • Contribute to product documentation reviews **Keys to Success** • Building collaborative relationships • Decision making • Drive results • Foster innovation • Personal energy • Self-leadership \#LI-DG1 _IGT is committed to sustaining a workforce that reflects the diversity of the global customers and communities we serve, creating a fair and inclusive culture that enables all our employees to feel valued, respected and engaged. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $44,990 - $96,845. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower.
