Job Description About the position

We have an excellent opportunity available for a Site Controller to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. The Site Controller lies within the EPDM Western Europe Operations BU. You’ll be working in a hard-working team, alongside peers, always trying to reach the next level.

You’ll be reporting into our Operations Finance Lead – Central Finance EPDM. Get ready for a lot of exposure to internal senior stakeholders.

In brief, you are responsible for:

Responsible for $140MM of COGS and logistics inbound costs' control. Lead the budget and monthly forecast for Site Operational Costs. Responsible for the Product Costing of the entire BU portfolio for about 800 sku’s. Responsible for profitability analysis on new development products. Zero Based Budgeting Site Lead. Liaise with Commercial Teams. Perform variances analysis vs standard of Ingredients & Packaging Materials, Plant Conversion Costs and Write Offs. Responsible for the reliability of the Purchasing cost variances for the Site and co packed goods. Sox coordinator for the Plant and Key control owner. Responsible for the Controlling of inventory activities for the raw materials, packaging materials, work in progress, finished goods and MRO. Responsible for the Capex, Inventory and Capitalization of the plant. Responsible on providing timely and relevant financial reports.

Responsibilities & accountabilities:

Implement & improve the current local Finance processes; Implement new policies and procedures from corporate department; Responsible for recommending and implementing process changes in support of increasing effectiveness and efficiency; Lead department in all accounting matters including technical accounting, regulatory audits, and ad-hoc projects that may arise; Proven understanding of internal controls and ability to assist in reviewing and improving processes to enhance controls and segregation of duties; Lead efforts to analyze large amounts of information, identifying the appropriate tools and methodologies to use as well as presenting key trends and results of analyses to management; Coordinate with the Financial Planning and Analysis team regarding forecasting methodologies to support alignment of accounting; Oversee account reconciliations and resolve reconciling items on a timely basis; Ensure information from different sources (Tax, Financial Risk Management, Management Information & Decision Support and other functions) is timely available, consolidated and understood; Be accountable for financial statement assurance and performing a first line of defense within the control framework; Work with the Site Management Team to identify their reporting needs and providing timely solutions; Perform analytical, financial statement review and assist on continuous improvement of reporting processes; Ability to participate in cross-functional teams in support of process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
Please kindly note that you need to have an EU Working Permit (Orientation Year Visa not included) in order to proceed for this position.

Hard Skills

MS Office (in particular Excel); ERP System; SAP, AS 400 BPCS; Fluent in English; Proven experience in capital management.

Background:

Bachelor’s degree in Economic or other relevant fields such as: Business Administration, Management Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics. 6 + years experience, preferably in Accounting, Controllership, FP&A or other finance roles
