Position Summary:

The Assistant General Manager supports the General Manager in leading all facets of hotel operations, focusing on guest satisfaction, team leadership, and operational efficiency. The AGM is a key leadership figure who ensures the Hampton Inn Kent runs smoothly and consistently meets Hilton brand standards.

Key Responsibilities:Operational SupportAssist the GM with oversight of all departments including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and breakfast services.Act as the Manager on Duty (MOD) in the absence of the GM.Ensure all departments are fully staffed and functioning effectively.Guest ExperienceEnsure outstanding guest service and address any guest concerns or complaints.Monitor guest feedback and implement service improvements.Staff SupervisionAssist in hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating team members.Lead by example in customer service, teamwork, and professional conduct.Administrative & FinancialSupport financial goals by managing expenses, payroll, and revenue reporting.Oversee daily cash handling and front desk procedures.Ensure adherence to Hilton brand policies, safety regulations, and local laws.Sales & MarketingSupport local marketing and sales initiatives.Assist in maintaining corporate and group client relationships.


Work Experience
Qualifications:2+ years of hotel management or supervisory experience (Hilton brand experience preferred).Strong communication and team leadership abilities.Experience with hotel PMS (OnQ experience a plus).Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
