You will be responsible for leading the team that manages, maintains and supports the server infrastructure. The role combines deep technical expertise in server systems with strong leadership and project management capabilities. The individual ensures high availability, security and performance of server environments while aligning with the broader IT strategy.
**Your Role:**
+ Lead, mentor and coordinate the daily activities of the server administration team.
+ Oversee the design, implementation and management of a scalable and secure server infrastructure.
+ Oversee Windows/Unix/Linux/VMWare server environments, including patching, updates and lifecycle management.
+ Assure the monitoring of the server infrastructure performance.
+ Establish and enforce policies, standards and procedures for server management.
+ Plan and implement server upgrades and migrations with minimal downtimes.
+ Ensure security compliance, including vulnerability remediation, access control.
+ Oversee the relevant documentation regarding configurations, system changes, procedures and server infrastructure design.
+ Participate and manage specific technical project work with relevance for the server infrastructure.
+ Oversee the identification, diagnosis of the issues to resolution.
+ Proactively managing and coordinating service improvement initiatives.
+ Participate in DR / BCP testing.
+ Ensure proactive evolution & optimization of service delivery organization, methods and tools.

**Your profile: **
+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Informational Technology, or a related field.
+ 8+ years of experience in system administration or mid to big size infrastructure roles.
+ Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a team leadership or supervisory position.
+ Proven experience managing large-scale server environments .
+ Ability to manage priorities and handle complex technical challenges.
+ Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Server Administrator, RedHat Certified Engineer, VMWare VCP.
+ Operating systems: strong expertise in Windows Server (DNS, AD, DHCP, Group Policy) and Linux server administration (RHEL, RedHat Satellite).
+ Virtualization: working experience with VMWare vSphere, Hyper-V.
+ Automation and scripting: ability to write automation solutions in some language (e.g. Python, Ansible, Bash, Perl).
+ Monitoring and tools: Nagios/Icinga2 knowledge or any other similar monitoring tool.
+ Automated configuration management tool: CFEngine, Ansible.
+ Extensive knowledge of protocols: HTTP, DNS, NTP, SMTP.
+ EU citizenship is required.
*This role may require flexibility, including shift-based work and on-call responsibilities, depending on operational needs.
*The service window for this project is between 9am-10pm, the exact daily shifts will be confirmed later in the process.
