Senior UI/UX Designer
As a Senior UI/UX Designer at AON Assessments, you will be joining the growing Assessment Product Management & Design team at an internationally respected organization, going through an exciting digital transformation.
This is a virtual role with the ability to work anywhere in the UK
This fantastic opportunity will demonstrate your passion and creative design skills, to deliver a human centered (Conversational design) approach to crafting and delivering user interfaces for B2B Human Resource products, that specialise in candidate attraction, pre-hire selection, employee development and data visualization, used by people around the world.
You will collaborate with a global team of experts to build interactive experiences that are frictionless and solve problems in simple and exciting ways.
You will be a dedicated and proactive designer, comfortable working virtually, with the self-discipline to ideate and push yourself and the team in developing new concepts, thoughts, and ideas.

What the day will look like
+ Lead business partner workshops to support requirements gathering for design projects.
+ Lead the completion of Visual Design deliverables, such as mock-up, comps, and design documentation to the design team collaborator/stakeholders' satisfaction.
+ Effectively convey approach and thinking to design leads and internal stakeholders.
+ Successfully project lead your own work queue, balancing multiple projects and deadlines and always keeping partners informed.
+ Research, define and create new and engaging experiences that will bring our products alive.
+ Rapidly generate ideas and prototypes that build on our evolving design system.
+ Responsible for planning efforts and deliverables
+ Actively participate in design and developer critiques
+ Build prototypes for user testing and internal reviews (run and/or participate in the user testing)
+ Use micro animations and motion to improve and strengthen the user experience.
+ Engage with areas outside of traditional UX/UI that could be used to enhance our solutions (I.e., animation, film, avatars, motion graphics)
+ Expertly present concepts and ideas to senior stakeholders tailored to the audience’s needs.
+ Define delivery and review process from design to full stack developers.
+ Partner with localisation teams in defining and delivering design that supports multiple languages (Right to left) and cultures.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
+ Bachelor’s degree in design (or equivalent) , Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
+ Numerous Years of experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
+ Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
+ Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines
Experienced in the use of

+ Adobe XD
+ Photoshop
+ Illustrator
+ Microsoft Office software
