POSITION:                Senior Software Engineering

JOB LOCATION:      3400 W. Plano Parkway Plano, TX 75075 [hybrid position]

Senior Software Engineering needed by AT&T Services, Inc. in Plano, Texas [hybrid position] to be responsible for the overall delivery process of a software application or service including design, development, testing, deployment, production application support (e.g., troubleshooting), and maintenance with a focus on automation. Design and implement secure, scalable, resilient, and auditable cloud solutions. Develop Azure migration and transformation tools and migrate existing platforms/applications to Azure. Automate cloud-based infrastructure deployments and manage tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations. Evaluate and recommend performance-enhancing tools, technologies, and processes with a focus on scalability, security, and availability. Identify and resolve infrastructure deficiencies, availability gaps, and performance bottlenecks. Serve as an escalation point for T2-T3 cloud infrastructure support and guide technical issues. Assess the technical feasibility of business solutions and collaborate with peer organizations and product delivery teams. Utilize Azure administration skills including Terraform, VM, VMSS, AKS, Storage Accounts, and Webapp. Utilize Networking skills including Vnet, Loadbalancer, App Gateway, Firewall, and private Endpoints. Utilize technologies including Java, Servlets, Webservices, RESTFul Services, Spring Framework, JMS, implementation of microservices using Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, and containerization of legacy applications. Work with Backups – Recovery service vault. Work on Kubernetes Architecture and Troubleshooting. Utilize Bash, PowerShell, yml, Jenkinsfile, Ansible & Python (Linux/Windows). Utilize CI/CD tools including Github, Azure Devops , and Jenkins. Utilize security and monitoring controls in Azure. Work with a high traffic production setting. Work with application migrations to cloud using native patterns.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, or Electrical Engineering and 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of experience in a related occupation utilizing Azure administration skills including Terraform, VM, VMSS, AKS, Storage Accounts, and Webapp; utilizing Networking skills including Vnet, Loadbalancer, App Gateway, Firewall, and private Endpoints; utilizing technologies including Java, Servlets, Webservices, RESTFul Services, Spring Framework, JMS, implementation of microservices using Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, and containerization of legacy applications; working with Backups – Recovery service vault; working on Kubernetes Architecture and Troubleshooting; utilizing Bash, PowerShell, yml, Jenkinsfile, Ansible & Python (Linux/Windows); utilizing CI/CD tools including Github, Azure Devops , and Jenkins; utilizing security and monitoring controls in Azure; working with a high traffic production setting; working with application migrations to cloud using native patterns.
