Senior Software Engineer

Role:
In this position you will work with the continuous delivery and quality of our services in Bill Pay NO.

You will be a partner for developers and testers as well as for our Business Unit to discuss solutions and functionality.
We work in a team of developers and testers to achieve the overall goal set by our Product and Business colleagues.

All About You:
• the ideal candidate for this position should be self-driven and proactive
• Have significant knowledge about Java development and quality assurance
• Have domain knowledge within banking and financial services
• Look at everything through the eyes of the customer and see their need for reliant and efficient solutions

What will you do:
• Work with Developers and Testers to drive functional requirements from the specification to the Release phase
• Use FitNesse, Cucumber, Splunk, Confluence to deliver quality code to Production
• Work Agile with our team, using Jira and Confluence as part of your day-to-day
• Adhere to and implements enterprise quality standards, processes and tools, and develops and implements build control strategies or QA tools/processes
• Interacts with business and development teams to define test plans and schedules
• Translates complex system requirements and specs into test requirements and testing methods
• Identifies and implements more complex automation efforts.
• Leads and implements new tools or methods to advance and/or expand testing capability, efficiency and throughput
